Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer

I know I've been slacking... a lot... but it's a new year and *hopefully* a new motivation to keep this blog going (I seriously need to start writing ahead when the mood strikes me so I have posts ready to schedule for those lazy and/or busy weeks, but honestly, I don't have that level of motivation for most things :D) ...

Anyway, this week I'm going to kick of my series of current oil control obsessions with my new favorite primer: Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer. This stuff is AMAZING! I've mentioned before the oil slick that is my face and the difficulties in finding products that the evil being living in my pores doesn't just consume to create more oil, yes? Well, this primer is one of the best weapons I have discovered as of yet to keep this monster at bay. It's super lightweight, blends beautifully to give your skin an almost airbrushed look, and it smells really nice (not a requirement for my beauty products, but, as I've mentioned, always a plus). Over the past few weeks I've used this under several different foundations from a variety of manufacturers (LancĂ´me Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation, Clinique Superbalanced Silk Makeup, and E.L.F. Flawless Finish Foundation), and get a consistent reduction in unwanted shine with all of them.
It's also 100% cruelty free, so I can feel a little more warm and fuzzy knowing that no bunnies are suffering for my oil control!

At $32 it might feel a little pricier than you might want to spend, but I would add that I used my sample from Sephora almost every day for about three weeks before using it up (and have since purchased it, because my face can no longer live without it), so a little goes a LONG way with this product, making it definitely worth it in my opinion :)

I'm planning to sample the Fenty Beauty Matte Foundation soon, so hopefully I will have some updates on how it compares to the others I have tried with this primer coming soon... Until next time beauty lovers!

XO
